My childhood was not how I really would liked to have been. I lived with my grandparents for some years. My father abandoned my mother, little sister and me. My mother had to work fo maintain us with food and clothes. Thanks to God my grandparents help my mother in seeking for us. I began primary school without the help of a father. My mother was mother and father for me.
In my first year of school, I had to go alone to school and come back alone to school, while other children their would go and find for them. In my assignments I needed to work alone. i had no one to help me with it. My mother was busy working and my grandparents don't have the patience nor the knowledge to help me. For the second year my mother engage in a relationship with a man. The man is now our step father for me and my other sister. I am the older one of us. Thanks to God and to my stepfather I could continue my studies.I don't had an enjoyable childhood since I had help my mom with chores of the house. I had to help her clean the house. She never to cook or to help her work to gain money. She sacrificed herself alone. She married with the man and now he works for us. My mother always supported me in my education background. Everything I needed she would do her best to gave it to me.
I overcome many obstacles in my childhood. I became a smart that liked the school and want a different life when grew up. Maybe I got ashamed of not having a father as the other children but i knew my mother was my father as well for me. I would have like not be a worried child.
My primary school helped me to look in a different way school. Most of the time I was apart from everybody set alone. I don't like to have friends. I was very bad building a relationship.
There were time that somebody talk to me and I just saw the person and never respond him/her back. I got traumatic of how my childhood was going. Thanks to my mom, my grandparents, teachers and of course my stepfather and God I overcome everything. Now I could easily build new friendship.

ReplyDeleteYou are missing some of the areas here for this part of the autobiography. Please refer to the handout I gave you that lists the areas to be covered. When you do your final autobiography, you can expand this piece. I am very glad that you got to continue your studies. I hope that your future only gets better. You had a hard childhood, but I think there will be success for you in the future because of all your hard work and that of your mother and stepfather.
