1. Factors that contributed to Precious having low self-esteem are: being physical abuse by parents, being raped, not knowing to read nor write, and considering herself as fat and ugly that nobody loved her.

2. Precious signs of low self-esteem was that she did everything what her mother wants her to do even-though she do not wanted, she was very quite and do not express her feelings and her courage.

3. Precious went to a Psychology person who helped her take out all her pain she had inside herself. She also went to a teacher to helped her write and read and where also she encounter some friends who apologize and help her.

4. Precious was always shy, and if she could not write she would just left her page blank. She was not that caring with herself. The Neurotic need of Affection and Approval and restricted her life in narrow borders.

5. The Psychologist she visited, the teacher, friends, and her two babies make her self-esteem increase.

6. Precious was no longer the person that her mother make her to be. She made her own actions and decisions. She went out from home and took along her two babies.

7. The movies tells us that there are persons from everywhere in this world that are being treated as how Precious was being treated. I felt desperate of what was going to happen with her. But finally I think she made the write decision to come out of home if she felt was insecure there. That was really a good example of how persons are making other ones have low self-esteem even at home.

8. Of course I would recommend this movie because everyone has the opportunity to have a secure life and to build a high self-esteem of themselves.
